Senior Project Coordinator
Elizabeth coordinates the Virginia Solar Initiative for the Weldon Cooper Center. Immediately prior to this appointment she managed projects for Organizational Excellence, UVA’s pan-institutional quality and improvement program, and she has served as an urban planner in both the private and public sectors.
Thom will be working on projects that investigate the potential economic impacts of solar parks on the Virginia economy with a particular focus on the implications for local land values. Prior to this appointment, he was a visiting assistant professor at Georgia Tech and the Pollman Postdoctoral Fellow in Real Estate and Urban Economics at Harvard University.
Program Manager ERI
Jonah handles a variety of activities for ERI including funding opportunity identification, communications, research team building, and interaction with funding agencies and institutional research administration and leadership. He provides support to the university-wide ERI Graduate Research Forum and coordinates outreach activities and training.
Samuel Adrian Mamaril
Adrian Mamaril is a first-year at the University of Virginia, planning to major in Foreign Affairs and Economics. He will be developing a one-stop, web-based source of real-time data related to renewable and solar energy in Virginia.
Daniel Krug is a fourth year Environmental Sciences major as well as a first year Batten Accelerated Master's of Public Policy candidate. His research focuses on collecting solar facility application and solar land use policy and proposals at the local level in Virginia.
